Kaycie is finally potty trained! These are her victory photos. Her motivation this last week was a pink guitar from Toys 'R Us. I think I deserve a present too though.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots
So Scott and I decided to try this weight loss program called fat loss 4 idiots. You're supposed to lose 9 lbs. in 11 days and then take a 3 day break and eat anything you want. If you want to lose more after that, you just start the 11 day meal plan again with a different menu. The way they plan your meals is by scheduling what you eat to trick your metabolism into burning fat fast. So for instance today our meal plan is Meal #1: Scrambled eggs & cottage cheese, Meal#2: Baked Beans and apples, Meal #3 Roast beef slices & sausage, Meal #4 Chicken & milk. You can eat them in any order you want. You can only drink diet sodas, water, and a couple other drink options. There are also days where it's mainly fruit and other days where it's mainly veges. We are on Day #6 and I've lost 5 lbs so far & Scott has lost 7lbs!! We're looking forward to our 3 cheat days though :)

Say Cheese!

We went to the zoo a couple weeks ago for a field trip with Ty's school. His cousins were in town so they came with us. It was a fun day, although there are too many birds in chain link cages and too much dirt for my liking. It's also overpriced and stuck in the dark ages not using debit cards! The kids had fun though and that's all that counts. Maybe we'll go again in 2 or 3 more years.

Princess Party

Today we found out that the city of Goodyear approved Scott's office plans. Yay! They will probably be starting construction in 2 weeks. That is to say if the developers turn the key over to us tomorrow like they're supposed to. I'm so excited!

Fetal Demise
Well, we didn't receive the best new this week. Tuesday I had an ultrasound and no heartbeat was found. I'm kind of bummed I never got to look at any of the ultrasound pictures. It puts me in a little bit of a denial that the baby is really dead. The doctor thinks it died at about 9 weeks and I was almost at 11 weeks. So now it's a waiting game. When will this miscarriage occur? Is it painful? Not fun. Scott didn't have any kind of attachment to it and it's not his body going through it so he's not affected by it at all. He thinks I shouldn't be either. He asked me last night...so will you be walking around depressed all the time from now on? I was a little taken aback. I thought I was handling it pretty well. Men, if they could just feel a tiny glimpse of what it's like to be a woman. I'm okay that this baby isn't coming. I know it's a natural thing for the body to do when something isn't developing right. I guess I'm just scared of the unknown that I'm now waiting for. I have the option of getting a D&C but it's way out of our price range with our deductible. Too bad. It'd kind of be nice to just have it over with. In the meantime I focus on my children who I love dearly. I know that we will have more. I know my heavenly father loves me and I can deal with this.
