I don't feel like I have much to post on. But I had to do something so the Thanksgiving pics could retire from 1st position. Well our little #3 is due any time now (induction scheduled for the 30th if I don't go before then) and I think I'm officially ready. Except for a name that is.I had a lot to do in the last month. I don't even know where all the energy came from. I painted the baby room all by myself 2 weeks ago. Moved all the furniture...everything. I was pretty proud of myself and exhausted. I think I've bought everything I need now. Dumb old me, being the anti-pack rat that I am had pretty much zero in the way of baby stuff. It's been 4 years since kaycie was born. So I had only a pack 'n play and car seat/stroller and that was it. Everything else we'd gotten rid of. The last month has been me making list after list of stuff I forgot about needing. Family has been very helpful. I inherited some baby clothes, a bassinet and bath tub. I found a good crib on craig's list for $80 so I was finally able to get all the baby bedding out. My husband's staff also threw me a surprise baby shower last week which I thought was very nice of them. He had told me I needed to come in to meet with our accountant. He's good at not giving away surprises. Anyway his hygenist got me a really cool diaper bag. That was one of the last things on my list I still needed. I've actually been keeping on top of laundry as soon as it comes out of the dryer. I've feel like I've done about a gazillion loads in the last 2 weeks so that all the baby clothes, blankets, burp cloths, towels etc. were clean and ready to go.
Also, I had a cleaning lady come and clean my house...Carla at Eco Maids 4 U. So nice! It was the first time I'd ever done that but she was here for 6 hours all by herself on Friday because her associate had a prior commitment. She was well worth the $130. My house is somewhere between 2800 and 3200 sq.ft. I can never remember exactly. But she cleaned all baseboards and light switches, swept and mopped all the tile (60% of my house is tile...ugh), vacuumed all carpet, cleaned bathrooms and even accessories in the bathrooms, dusted pictures hanging on the walls, dusted everything else you can think of, changed master bedroom linen and sprayed with lavendar aromatherapy oils and left chocolates on the pillows, cleaned kitchen and all appliances (including washer and dryer), cleaned tv screen in kids playroom, and I paid a little extra for her to dust all the blinds in my house (it had never been done in 3 years). I'm sure I'm missing something. Anyway everything was eco-friendly/kid & pet safe. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to try it.
Also, I made 12 meals last week for 6 families in my freezer group and got 12 different meals in return. So now my freezer is pretty stocked for when the baby comes. These are some of the freezer meals I got...Stromboli, Woodland Park Beef, Cafe Rio Pork, Green Chile Pork Tacos, Chipotle BBQ Chicken, Thai Chicken Wraps, Shrimp Scampi, Turkey Chili, Jumbalaya...that's all I can remember at 3:30 am. Should be good though!
We went on the hospital tour at Banner Estrella Hospital. Scott really did not want to do this so I was glad he made the sacrifice. He said all you need to know is where to check in. The rest is the same as all others. Still, I wanted to see the accomodations and know what to expect. He doesn't get that. The tour was supposed to start at 6pm and we got there 20 minutes early. At 6:45 no one had come to give the tour yet. There were about 8 other couples and Scott decided to give himself the tour so he left. I waited. About 3 minutes after Scott left, a nurse shows up and says I guess I'll be giving the tour. So we all follow her to the admittance area for those in labor. I'm looking around for Scott and don't see any sign of him yet. The nurse begins by telling us that this is where we will check in. She then points to some double doors and says "This is a secure area. These doors are always locked. If anyone want to visit, they'll have to call back on these phones to be let in." Of course right then with perfect timing, Scott comes walking out the double doors with a big grin on his face. This girl next to me starts laughing and asks how he got in. Apparently he just f0llowed a doctor in. It was pretty funny. It's a nice hospital though and it reminded me of all the things I had forgotten and didn't want to remember about having a baby. Still I'm ready now...except for cute little baby headbands with bows....Bridgette? :)

Congratulations to you! If I was there I'd hold it when you needed a break. Enjoy it-my #5 is almost three and I so miss having a "baby" around.
Keep us posted!
Good luck! I can't believe it has been 9 months already! Time sure does fly. I know you have tons of family around, but if you need some help just let me know! Carson and Connor would love to play with Ty and Kaycie! I can't wait to hear what you decide to name your new little one!
You are totally making me Baby hungry! It's so fun listening to you get ready, what names are you even thinking about? I told you, once you start the whole housekeeper thing you never quit!!!
