The World of Facebook
So I heard about facebook this week. I don't know how long it's been out there but I thought I'd give it a try. Heard it's a good way to find old friends yada yada yada. It's supposed to be better than myspace which I never tried but I always thought was a mess. I'd go to someone's myspace page out of boredom and be overwhelmed by the wallpaper screaming at me not allowing me to read anything anybody wrote. Facebook is kind of funny too, much cleaner looking, but still a lot of information on a page. I guess it's a learning process but what I really love is going around asking people to accept you as a friend. It's kind of scary, not that I even really care but it sort of takes you back to grade school and middle school and makes you feel a little insecure. I'm 30 years old and thinking...are they going to accept me as their friend?...will they even remember me? The online world seems like such a huge popularity contest. Sis, do you really personally know each and every one of those 200+ people??? It is fun to see what old friends are up to none the less so I'll try it. And I hope it's not addicting cause i just don't have the time. What did we do before email, text messaging, myspace, blogger, facebook...I shiver to recall. And I shiver to think what else will be added on to that list when my kids are in middle school.

good to know! :)
TAG!
what's tag?
There was a Dr Phil episode about Facebook. There were girls who would get wasted then post video & pictures of what they did. It was about how employers look to the internet for info before hiring. Since that I've been scared to look at Facebook, but I'm glad to hear it's generally better than that.
Haven't seen you in a while. Hope you are feeling well & that things are going great with your pregnancy! Looking forward to seeing you at recipe group if not before then.
